At BELOVED, we want you to know you're not alone—and you're not outside the love of God or the life of the Church. This is a place where you can share your story, find community, grow in your relationship with Jesus Christ, and be formed in the beauty of Catholic teaching. You were never meant to walk this journey alone. You were meant to be known, supported, and BELOVED.
Statement of Belief
The core belief of BELOVED is that every person has a unique identity given to them by God and we are called by God first to union with Him. This identity is received and deepened through a living relationship with Jesus Christ.
As a ministry within Catholic Noles, BELOVED upholds and adheres to all the teachings of the Catholic Church and is in union with St. Thomas More Parish and the Diocese of Pensacola-Tallahassee.
Created in God’s Image
We believe that the human person is made in the image and likeness of God. Each person possesses intrinsic dignity as a unique, unrepeatable human being.
Body and Soul
We believe God willed humans as male or female. Though the Fall affects sexual identity and desire, experiencing discord with one's bodily sex or same-sex attraction is not inherently sinful. However, we believe sexual expression is exclusively for indissoluble marriage between one man and one woman; any other sexual expression is sinful.
Called to Holiness
Every person is called to holiness, and to chaste integration of their sexuality according to their state in life.
